Urban Decay Electric Palette

Hiiii! I thought I would review some makeup palettes as they are backing up as well! I know, I know, everything is backing up!! I'm working on it!! :)

I thought I would start with the Urban Decay Electic Palette! Now Canada took FOREVER to get these in so I went down to the states and got it because I could not wait any longer. It is now in Canadian stores. So I've had it for a while now but I wanted to do a couple looks and really use the products before I wrote a review. Here is this gorgeous palette with a flash!

Now the biggest question I had in my mind before I got this palette was, "How big is this palette really and is it worth the $58 CAD?"  Well the answer is yes! The size is great! You get 10 huge pots of brilliantly bright shadows for 58$....that's really only $6 a shadow!! You cannot even buy cheap drugstore makeup for $6 a colour, they are more along the lines of 8$ and 9$. And when you really get down to the nitty gritty, they aren't really even shadows, they are actually pressed pigments so because of the colour payoff, you actually use much less and this will last a heck of a longer time! You also get an awesome double sided brush, a plastic palette case (instead of some of the cardboard ones) and a huge mirror!

If you are familiar with Urban Decay shadows you will know that they are very smooth and buttery. The colour payoff for the Electric palette is really great! They are pressed pigments after all and are truly -dare I say- "electric"! Here are some of the swatches I did WITHOUT A PRIMER!!

And here are some of the looks that I have done so far with the palette either solely or partially with the palette. All of these looks have been done without a primer just to show you the real colour payoff this palette really has!

This is done with MAC Pressed pigment in Light Touch (lid) and the rest is the Electric Palette. 

Jilted (crease) Thrash (inner corners) and Urban (under eye). I am using the Mary Kay Lash Love Mascara in I ❤️ Green. 

This look is using solely the Electric palette: Thrash , Fringe and Freak

The highlighter is MAC Soft and Gentle 

This look is also just the Electric palette using Savage and Slowburn

This look is mostly the Urban Decay Ammo pallette ( review coming soon ) but I mixed a bit of Jilted and Urban for the undereye look. 

Well I must say that this palette is worth the price! And probably the best bright palette there is out there right now. If you were thinking about it, I hope I have convinced you to take the plunge! I really love it!! Stay tuned for more makeup reviews! Xx

Shoemint Victoria (Grey)

Hiii! This is a pair of booties that are super cute!! They are called Victoria and they are from SHOEMINT! She is available in black and grey. I chose the grey. Here are some stock photos! 

The shoe is real leather with faux croc detailing on the back. It is a single soled bootie with a pointed toe. I love the wrap about double strap details on the ankle as well. The hardware is silver. The heel is 4 1/3 inches according to the website.

The heel does not feel super high despite the fact that it doesn't have a platform. However I would advise you to go half a size up or even a full size up. The website says a half size. The toe box is pretty narrow (as most pointed toes are) and are not the most comfortable shoes I own. This is not the shoe to wear to work all day unless you are seated! 

The boots are low and have an elastic panel on the inner side for stretching while you move. These boots are $110 at SHOEMINT and if you keep a lookout, they often have sales! 

Like my jeans!? They are the signature skinny tuxedo jeans from Justfab USA/ Justfab CA! They are in the clearance section for $15!! They are sooo nice! I would advise you to go up a size because they fit snug. I chose the navy colour and it has faux black leather tuxedo piping down the leg, on the belt loops, at the waist band, and around the top of the pockets! Usually Justfab denim is $40 so $15 was a steal for sure!! They come in grey with black, navy with black and white with black so go get your pair now!

Justfab Revolution (Pink)

Hi guys! Here is my first PINK post for breast cancer awareness for the month of October! The bag is called Revolution and it is from Justfab USA/ Justfab CA! As you can see I got a few other pink things lately! 

This bag is super cute! The pink is a fluorescent blue pink and I am in LOVE! 💗 It is made with faux textured leather! The material is rich yet soft and supple pebbled faux leather! It is structured with a lot of great detailing on the bag. The accent metal is gold. 

The bag has one downside in my opinion and that is lack of inside pockets and organization! There is no pockets on the outside of the bag whatsoever.

Inside there is one horizontal cellphone open pocket.

And one small zipped pocket. The top of the bag is zippered and offers more security than a bag like a tote.

Other than the lack of pockets, this bag is amazing! It is absolutely HUGE! Here it is in front of my 4 year old! I could almost stuff him in it...almost! Ha!

This bag is worth so much more than the $40 I paid for it! It feels awesome, carries a lot and looks stylish! What more do you want in a bag?! The colour is also so fun!!  Who needs a boring black bag?!
