Justfab LUXE Addisyn (Taupe)

Hi lovies!! I know it was FEBRUARY since I last posted!! So bad!! So sorry!!! I've been super busy dealing with fixing up and trying to sell my house, on top of having two young kids and their activities I have been swamped!! So the reviews (Shoes, makeup, clothing, bags etc) have been PILING up!!!

This beauty here is Addisyn from the Luxe line at  Justfab USA/ Justfab CA!

She is this amazing lace up, over the knee, open toed boot with a zip up the back! I think she SCREAMS sexy, but that's just me! She is available in black faux leather or this gorgeous taupe colour in faux suede. Here are some of the stock pics found on Justfab!

Anyways back to reality!! These are soooo affordable!! Maybe you won't be wearing them with jumpsuits or onesies and no pants but they still look cute in real life on real people! Haha! 

So for me the fit is 100% true to size! It's all adjustable as well so if you have bigger or smaller calves then you can adjust it accordingly. I have it done up a little looser than I would like but I wanted the lace up part openings to look all the same size. If you look at the model, the foot part is open and then the calf part is all closed like there is no opening, I don't know why but this bugs me!! I want them to all be the exact same!! Crazy I know!! So back to sizing, unless you have crazy long toes you should be able to get your true size! I think even if you have wider feet you can probably get your true size still because it's all adjustable!

This shoe is a single sole with a pretty tall heel so comfort wise she really isn't the best! I would say that the suede version is probably more comfortable than the leather though, but that would be a guess. It really isn't bad though honestly, I could see myself wearing it all day. I would probably be a bit sore at the end of the day but not crying! Haha! I will say that the top part rubs a bit on the back of my thigh when I walk, I might just need to tighten the top more but I also don't want it digging into my thighs!! Not the hottest look! 😂😂 LOL! 

Here I have it looser but that's when it rubs!! Obviously I will have to play around to see what is the most comfortable for me! 

Overall this is a great, sexy shoe! It's versatile and I am thoroughly impressed by the quality of this faux suede! It is soft and supple and the material feels thick and substantial and not like it is just going to fall apart! The heel is sturdy and I don't feel like I am going to fall over! Justfab LUXE Caitlin (Black)

Hi guys! Happy Monday! This is Caitlin from the Luxe line at Justfab USA/ Justfab CA! She is another flat over the knee boot with some buckles and zip details. The hardware is more of a gunmetal than a silver. To me she is kind of edgy and kind of says "pirate boot" crossed with maybe a bit of "biker" to me! The buckles are squared off and are located behind the knee and on the ankle. The boot is flat per say, but does have a tiny heel. I also kind of like that the boot is a bit slouchy.

She has a more rounded toe as you can see in the picture above but it isn't a true round toe boot. The metal zippers on her are at an angle on the outer calf and non-functional. The zippers on the inside of the calf are fully working and straight. She is also LINED WITH FUR! Faux fur of course, but fur nonetheless! It gives it an extra bit of warmth for these cold winter months and a little bit of added comfort! 

This OTK boot is actually pretty comfortable, definitely something you can wear all day shopping etc. The faux leather is not bad, quite smooth and supple. The over the knee part actually comes over the knee for me and doesn't cut or dig in. I also found the calf part to be quite roomy.

I got Caitlin in my true size and I think she fits perfectly! I would recommend ordering your true size as well! Originally I wanted Caitlin in the brown colour, but she actually sold out before they could fill my order so the order got cancelled! A bit of a bummer, but I don't mind the black. Most size are still available in all colours except for the big sizes. So if you have a smaller to average size foot and love this boot you can still grab her! Beauty Blenders!

Hi guys! I've been meaning to write this review for a long time but I never have clean brand new beauty blenders to take pics of!! You may have read my review of The Sephora Collection "The Painter" Airbrush Sponge and how I tell you I stick to my original and pro beauty blenders! (Sidenote, Sephora has actually removed that product from their site and I'm guessing the shelves too...good...it was a waste of money) So in one of my latest Sephora hauls I purchased the Beauty Blender "Fantastic Four" pack, so here are my brand new, clean beauty blenders to take pictures of for you!! 

So as you can see the Fantastic Four comes with an original pink beauty blender, the black beauty blender pro, the micro mini beauty blender and the blender cleanser solid mini. All four of these were priced specially for $39USD/ $49CAD at Sephora this past month. Individually the beauty blender costs $26CAD at Sephora ( I will post links to purchase at the end ) so to get all four items for under what 2 would cost me was a steal!

Now if you have never used a beauty blender before, let me quickly explain what it does and the process. So if you usually use your fingers or other brushes to apply foundation, concealer or other makeup, usually you get brush lines or an uneven application. With the beauty blender, it actually applies your makeup flawlessly without brush lines and makes your makeup look airbrushed! At the same time, it doesn't suck up all your product like you may have noticed other sponges do. (Disclaimer- they do suck up a bit of product, but not nearly as much as a brush or a regular sponge does) 

So how does it work? Well first, using cold water, you either completely submerge your beauty blender or leave it under the running water for a little while. Gently press your palms together and squeeze out all the excess water and then once more in a towel or paper towel. Your sponge will have almost doubled in size! Now you are ready to "bounce" your makeup onto your face! Simply use the sponge with your makeup products and tap our bounce the sponge all over the face, blending all of whatever you applied, flawlessly! It's that easy! Here is what it looks like when it is dry compared to when it is wet:

The Micro Mini

Here the only one that was wet was the original one so you can see the size difference in the same frame: 

Quite a difference! I have found that you can use different angles of the sponge to get different places! Also with the micro mini it was made for those hard to reach areas, specifically the under eye! And the benefits to having the black pro beauty blender is that it doesn't stain nearly as much (if at all) as the original. I have read reviews that the pink one runs, especially when you use the cleanser. I have not noticed that, I do however notice that it does fade quite a bit and of course it stains. Other than that there isn't a huge difference between the original and the pro, I have noticed that the pro sucks up a tiny bit more product than the original and is slightly more porous (has slightly wider pores). The feel of the original is more smooth and the pro is more "fuzzy". The micro mini seems to be the same sponge as the original just a smaller size.

This is them wet, drying out on the box. The individuals come with a little plastic case that you can set them on top of to dry! 

Now the cleanser is perfection! I love it! I've even used it for my wet brushes (foundation, concealer, lip etc) and it works like a dream!! I haven't seen any of the original's pink colour coming out with washing with the cleanser.  I will definiately be repurchasing this cleanser or trying the liquid one next! 

So overall I am thrilled with this purchase! The price is great for what I got and the quality is amazing! I love how my foundation looks when I use these products! I have not yet come across another sponge that can truly duplicate what the Beauty Blender does! Just look at this attempt =>The Sephora Collection "The Painter" Airbrush Sponge! I know that $26 may seem like a lot to pay at first but it truly is worth every single penny! There is no competition! I also will let you know that I was not paid for this review nor was I given this product in exchange for a review. I bought this on my own from Sephora and these are my own and honest opinions!
